About Salt of the Earth Outreach Global Ministries (OGM), Inc.

Salt of the Earth OGM is a church that seeks to fulfill our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ's great commission to make disciples of all nations. We want specifically to impact the church, the communities, and the world for Christ. We seek to fulfill this mission by challenging people to make a radical commitment to the local church, believing that it is through the church that God accomplishes His plan. Our aim is to produce kingdom workers who are faithful, available, teachable, and sacrificial by valuing worship, growth, accountability, and participation with a strong emphasis and engagement to outreach ministry (both locally and globally). Through the striving of these qualities and commitments, we will know that we are fulfilling God's unique calling for our church.

Salt of the Earth OGM is a community of apostolic churches committed to a common mission, spiritual formation, and leadership.

MISSION STATEMENT

The general theme of Matthew 5:13–16 is promises and expectations, and these expectations follow the promises of the first part. The first verse of this passage introduces the phrase "salt of the earth": You are the salt of the earth, but if the salt has lost its flavor, with what will it be salted?

What is the meaning of Matthew 5 13?

It was most used as a preservative; this use was important enough that salt was sometimes even used as currency, from which the word salary originates. The most common interpretation of this verse is a reference to salt as a preservative, and to thus see the duty of the disciples as preserving the purity of the world.

Salt of the Earth OGM seeks to fulfill our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ's, great commission to make disciples of all nations. We seek to be the salt of the earth and the light of the world through the demonstration of the Love of God.

We want specifically to impact the church, the communities, and the world for Christ. We seek to fulfill this mission by challenging people to make a radical commitment to the local church, believing that it is through the church that God accomplishes His plan. Our aim is to produce kingdom workers who are faithful, available, teachable, and sacrificial by valuing worship, growth, accountability, and participation. Through the striving for these qualities, we will know that we are fulfilling God's unique calling for our church and the outreach ministry we have been commissioned to do.
